We are thrilled to announce that a 501(c) 3 fund for the miners, their families, and the communities they live in has been accepted under the umbrella of the Women’s Empowerment Network (WEN). Now, anyone interested can make a tax-deductible contribution to help the mining community at Kawah Ijen.
Secure, online donations can be made via PayPal.
Checks should be made payable to WEN and please make sure to write – Project Kawah Ijen – on the memo line.
Please mail checks to:

The funds will go to IKAWANGI, an established CSO in Indonesia, who, inspired by the film, have already begun by building a library in Hadis‘s village. They are organizing a school fee assistance program, trainings for women in home industry-style empowerment projects, as well as addressing the miners’ health and safety needs.
Thank you so much for participating.
Sasha
